Combine PDF files into one organized document
Merge PDF is built for invoices, reports, application attachments, scanned chapters and other documents that need to travel as one file. Every page from the first PDF is copied, followed by every page from the second and each additional file in the displayed order.
The tool preserves each page’s original dimensions rather than forcing every source document onto the same paper size. This is useful when portrait reports, landscape tables and differently sized scans must remain visually unchanged.
How to use Merge PDF
Add at least two PDFs
Choose all PDF files that should be combined into the final document.
Arrange the file order
Use the arrow controls to move each file before or after the others.
Merge every page
The browser copies the source pages into a new PDF in the selected sequence.
Download the combined PDF
Save one merged document and verify the page order before sharing.
A predictable PDF merge workflow
The file list represents the final document sequence. If a cover sheet must appear first, move that PDF to the top. If appendices must follow the main report, place them after it. The output name clearly identifies the new merged file.
Merging does not rewrite the visible page content. However, encrypted documents, damaged cross-reference tables or unusual security restrictions may prevent copying. The converter reports those issues instead of silently leaving pages out.
Example: assemble an application package in the correct order
Place the cover letter first, the main form second and supporting certificates last. Compare the expected page total with the merged result before submission.
The merge operation copies pages; it does not rewrite their visible content. Mixed A4, Letter, portrait and landscape pages therefore retain their original dimensions.
When Merge PDF is the right choice
- Combine a cover letter and supporting documents
- Join invoices or monthly reports
- Put scanned chapters into one ordered file
Edge cases to check before downloading
- Document bookmarks are not rebuilt across source files.
- Duplicate form-field names can conflict.
- A previously valid digital signature can become invalid after modification.
Privacy, quality and compatibility
Password-protected or permission-restricted PDFs may need to be unlocked by an authorized user before they can be merged.
Your selected files are processed in browser memory. Keep the source document, inspect the download and use the original authoring application when exact legal, print or archival fidelity is required.
